Principal's Welcome Back Message

August 13, 2018

Dear Families,
As our beloved Ms. G. would say, “The God in me greets the God in you!”

Welcome to Saint Ann School! As we embark on our first year together, let me start by telling you that I am honored to be joining you. Without exception, everyone has been warm, welcoming, and supportive. As I begin to acquaint myself with new students, parents, grandparents, teachers, custodians, secretaries, and paraprofessionals, with every greeting and introduction it only becomes more clear that the Saint Ann School community is truly a family united around its children.

I am blessed to be joining such an amazing group of people.

Thank you for choosing Saint Ann School for your children. We will cherish your children as we work diligently to nurture their faith, challenge their minds, stimulate their critical thinking skills, and prepare them to be responsible Catholics who compassionately serve others.

With great excitement, we welcome other new faculty and staff members: Mrs. Firouzi (second grade), Mrs. Millar (seventh grade homeroom, junior high science and language arts), Ms. MacArthur (music director), Mrs. Amster (art instructor), Mrs. Ponce (paraprofessional), Mr. Muhle (facilities manager).

One of the most important components of an exceptional school like Saint Ann’s is the partnership between home and school. Saint Ann School has a strong tradition of supportive, hard-working families. Throughout the year you will have the opportunity to develop our partnership in a wide variety of ways. Families can join the PTG (Parent Teacher Guild), volunteer in the classroom, help in the library, attend Advisory Board meetings, or participate in one of the many other events or activities that make our school a special place for our children to learn. A list of our school year events will be sent home to you by the PTG. You can earn parent volunteer hours by helping the Saint Ann School family with any of these events.

I’m looking forward to meeting all of the wonderful families that make Saint Ann School such an incredible place. If you haven’t had a chance to stop by the office yet, and find yourself with a few extra minutes, please stop in. I promise not to take up too much of your time.

I am excited and privileged to be part of the dedicated and professional staff at Saint Ann School.
As we journey through this first year together, I trust this is going to be an amazing year full of fun, new relationships, and learning for all of us. May God bless our students, families, staff, and school.

Sincerely yours in Christ, Alicia Conliffe
