STEM EVENT - Hydraulics

Students learned about the applications of hydraulics and Pascal’s Law.  Students were shown a demonstration of a hydraulic lifting system.  The older students calculated the increase in force as shown in Pascal's Law.  In small groups students also operated a robotic hand powered by hydraulics to grab an object.  Saint Ann School's STEM events are held monthly and organized by a group of dedicated parent volunteers.
