Kindergarten Service Project

Kindergarten’s service project raises funds for childhood cancer research. The Kindergarten class sells lemonade & snow cones at their lemonade stand every Friday during the month of September to raise money. All proceeds go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to fund research in honor of our Saint Ann Student, Cora, who fought and defeated childhood leukemia. Over $600 is typically donated.  

Students in all grades also wear yellow T shirts every Wednesday in September to raise childhood cancer awareness.

First Grade

First Grade Service Project

In honor of Mrs. Cornell’s son who was born with a heart condition, Third Grade’s service project raises money for children with congenital heart defects.  On Wednesdays during the month of February, students may wear jeans with a red shirt for a dollar. Donations are given to Kids with Heart National Association for Children's Heart Disorders, Inc. This foundation provides support, education, & awareness for congenital heart defects.

Second Grade

Second Grade Service Project

Second Grade’s service project collects new sets of pajamas from families, friends & parishioners.  The pajamas are then donated before Christmas to a Foster Care Agency, the Woman’s Shelter or similar assistance organization.

Third/Fourth Grade Service Project

Third & Fourth Graders collect mittens & gloves from families, friends & parishioners in November & December.  The mittens & gloves are donated before Christmas to the parish food pantry.

Fifth Grade

Fifth Grade Service Project

After each weekly school mass on Friday morning,  Fifth Grade students organize the church pews by fixing the books and filling the prayer card slips.

Middle School Service Project

During the months of February, Middle School students collect donations for the Ridgecrest Animal Shelter, such as blankets, cat/dog food, bleach & towels.
