STEM Event - Batteries

Students learned about batteries and how they work, including electrodes, anodes, cathode, electrolytes, electric givers, receivers, and electron flow.  For a hands-on activity, students constructed a battery cell to light a small LED bulb.  They used multimeters to measure voltage readings from their batteries.
